For How did this happen:

This web site has been established to help remote Villages from Kokoda to the main town Popendetta.
It is hoped to provide these remote communities with an Ambulance service and provide Medical assistance.
The money raised will to help to train the locals in Australia to Paramedic status so that a mobile Ambulance service can be offered.
A number of people have recently died of malaria and massive flooding in the area has created problems with the breeding of mosquitoes.

Jeff Keough would like to share his PNG experiences with people who are interested and may be able to help and sponsor a programme to help the local population.
